.|...:: Christmas dinner ::...|.
Heyaz!!! It's been four days since the Christmas dinner thingy and i'm at least a bit over the euphoria. That's actually one of the reasons how come i dare to start a blog post. Why? As i've said before, euphoria is NOT a good prose. Ah well.. About the Christmas dinner thingy, here's a bit of it.. At nine in the morning i was woken up by none other than my dear pet bro, Jeremy Lim. The sound of the handphone vibrating against the wood shelf and the monotonoue bubble sound indicating that a message has been received is a VERY nice way to start a morning, mind you. XD The latter arrived at my house at what... ten to eleven? Yeah.. met his mum for the first time, she's very nice. Had lunch at Kopitiam with mum, my aunt, Jeremy and his mum, then went help JLYS with his last-minute Christmas shopping. Very interesting how guys shop.. Okay, maybe he doesn't shop like any other guy, but all the same, it's an experience. Mind you, I'm still sick. What luck, huh? Okaay. Shopped until 3-something then walked home. Instead of wrapping the presents or making cards, Jeremy, a typical guy, sat down and played Star Wars battlefront with my bro on the Ps2. Sheesh. A few minutes later, we were off with mum to pick up the rest of the crazy people. First off, we went to pick Wen An. Out of jest, i suggested that Jeremy sit at the back of the car to scare whoever who comes in. In the end, he DID execute the plan. At Wen's house, had to wait for some time [What DOES that girl do?? XD] so was worried if his butt would hurt like crap or something. Anyway, it didn't work 'cause even if she takes ages to get ready, Wen is NOT daft. She actually went "Eh? Who's that?" while pointing to the back of the car.. Busted. Next, the retard. Okay, despite the fact that he is tall-er than us average people, he didn't notice Jeremy in the back. Cool. So he was seated already, then the rest of us just kept quiet, and mum didn't even start driving. Awkwardness. Then some weird guy suddenly sprung out from the back. Okay, so the shocked reaction didn't really come, so yeah... Reached Melia's house.. This time, Jeremy got a scream or a yelp from her. One out of three not bad la.
Okay. Back at the house, distributed Christmas presents and SOME people made themselves at home right away. While Wen was playing chor tai tee with my bro and Aunt downstairs, Heng Leong decided to wreak havoc throgh my computer. Very very good. Well, Melia liked the powerpoint presentation i set up for her for her birthday and all the contacts in my Msn who were online at that moment were either called by vulgar names [sorry again, Claire XD] or think that i've suddenly picked up lesbian tendencies. Besides that, people seem to like downloading songs like Tong Hua and play it LOUD on my computer just for their listening pleasure, considering the fact i'm not exactly fond of it. Oh, and when you're trying to play songs on the computer, REMEMBER. One at a time. At about four, amidst all the chaos, Ee Ling strolled elegantly in, thus putting a stop to all the computer nonsense. Yeap, then the card nonsense started. Chor tai tee + crazy teenagers + ice cream = [i'll let you figure this one out] Six was changing time. Despite the fact that there are three bathrooms in my house, the whole top floor was dominated by the six people trying to get some private spot to get into formal attire. Next time i'll remember to install changing rooms, huh? XD Well, refer to the pic for the end results of all that mess. Got to listen to Eel play the piano.. WahHhhh.. Okay, so it was raining when we left. Some went in Aunty Lay Keng's car so cramming into one vehicle wasn't something to groan about. Got to the hotel, then filled up the details for the blessing draw later on, then six crazy teens were on the loose. Actually, we just walked back and forth, at the lobby, etc. Jeremy got a few pics, then we went back and met Winnie!! Whoa, that girl can really pull of the guy look, man. Serious coolness. In a black collared shirt and pants, her hair slightly spiked, she looked so so cool!!! O_O Also, got so many presents and i managed to pass out all the presents i brought for people, so it was good.
Okaaay. Dinner. Food wasn't bad la. Elvis was cool, singing was deafening. It always if when you're sitting next to Jeremy Lim. Oh, and the two guys happen to enjoy making sure we get lots of attention from other tables by yelling and hooting besides clapping after a performance. XD Oh, but the highlight was probably Lively Larry who once again managed to make everyone do embarassing but simple fun stuff like pulling out my Aunty's white hair and dancing the Chicken Dance. Too bad i didn't bring a camera so i could use the footage for future blackmail. XD I know, i'm a wonderful friend. Well, dinner was over at about ten thirty..? Went over to take pics with my cell gals and something.. well.. interesting happened to Wen. *winkwink*
Got home, picture taking session. XD Chill, la Jeremy.. That's why we're called human.. We make mistakes. =] Did i mention the people who were present then got to meet my dad? Luckily he was quite sober that night, or else they'd redefine the word "weird" and "scary". And since some of us were still hungry, mum suggested we walk over to Pyramid for some supper at Kim Gary. Bwahahaha. So, changed and off we went. Then sent people home. Amazingly, Ee Ling did NOT get lost!! Let me repeat it in case you can't belive it... Ee Ling did NOT get lost!!! Hurray!!! back to my own home to catch some ZzzZzzz...
Overall, the day+ dinner was long, but undoubtly enjoyable. It's nice to be surrounded by friends and family. Nuff said. Hope everyone had a Christmas [or at least eve] as spectacular as mine. Seasons greeting and pray you're all happy and well!!

.|...:: PMR and such ::...|.
Unlike what the title suggests, i did NOT retake the examination. XD Yeap, got the results today... Funny enough, i didn't feel that scared, probably since i was concentrating on making sure my nose didn't fall off. Haha, its just my luck that i had to fall sick the day before receiving the results. Anyhow, i'm pretty happy with my 6As and 1B [for sejarah]. Initially, thought i'd get only 5As, figured i'd flunk my Geography. Thank God i actually did well in that paper.
Well yeah, and i've been spending my days wrapping Christmas presents, making cards and making a nuisance out of myself, bugging people out of their wits. Oh, but i really enjoyed the youth camp of FGT'S 365student Ministry. Pastor Lin Perry and his wife gave such inspiring talks and getting to know my church members as well as others was good fun. Came home feeling much more alive, motivated, blessed and it was as if my footsteps aren't weighed down with so much dread, anxiety and depression anymore.
Attending the FGT Christmas Dinner at Sheraton hotel tomorrow.. Don't really know what to expect, but just hope it turns out well. Well, that's all i have to say now. Take care peeps, and Merry be-earlied Christmas!! [Just in case i don't post during that time]
