Date: 22/11/2005
Hey, I’m back!!! Wow, my blog seems to be running well.. Haha.. Well, a report on yesterday.. Helped AJ with some stuff along with Melissa, Pearly and Su-Ann. Was kinda fun, though being me, I’m not exactly the best when it comes to socializing. So to put it bluntly, it was quite awkward for me. Though, I did appreciate it that the girls tried to make the situation lighter. Had lunch, then went over to Aunty Puay Wan’s house for the baking thingy.. See, me and a couple of girls are taking these baking classes, well not really classes, but just something to pass the time, at the same moment get a hands on experience in the kitchen. It was weird, that after a few days of helping May Anne with her wedding stuff, I never heard anything about the house being refurbished, the upstairs, at least.. So it was quite a shock when all the furniture looked different there. Okay.. Baked- Wait.. HELPED bake chilled almond/walnut cookies, scones, and pecan pie. Was fun, especially the part where I get to eat!! XD Oh.. and one more thing..
I finally watched the Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire movie!!
!!! Haha, it was quite good, actually.. But when people told me it was, well.. excellent, it sort of gave me a different expectation and well, I can just say that they overrated it. Sorry to say, but that’s just what I think. I admit that the producer stayed true to the storyline and the graphics, animation and special effects were terrific. But what put me off was how short and rushed the movie was. The fact that Harry actually took AGES to figure out the next task was summed up in a brief conversation [mostly with Hermione screeching the fact that the next task was in but a few hours time] in the library is but one of the examples. Oh well, the skeptical and fussy me has just about that to say.. But on the lighter side, I was intrigued by most of the new characters [not from the first three book] in this movie. I say the producer did a swell job with the presentation of the other students, besides those of Hogwarts. Madame Maxime’s girls and the boys from Durmstrang had a terrific entrance. Though, I especially like Cedric Diggory. Say I fancy spotting guys on screen and it affects how I rate the movie, blahblah, I wouldn’t mind. But yeah, not only is he good looking, but the way he portrays Cedric as an honest and true person really caught my attention. And the scene where Harry was wailing and unwilling to let go of Cedric’s dead body really tugged at my heart strings. The same goes for when Harry tried to save Fleur’s sister in the lake, and Fleur in the maze. I know, I’m such a softie.. Oh, at this rate I’ll start doing a scene-by-scene review, if I’m not careful. But oh well, it was a good watch all in all and I’m glad I watched it.
Oops, I’ve been babbling for far too long and have lost track of time. Gotta go now, check back in when anything else has happened in my otherwise-mundane life. =)

.|...:: A beginning ::...|.
Date: 9/11/2005Hey. Before i begin, i have a reason why i've created this blog. A few reasons, actually. Well, i actually already have a blog in Friendster , but that one is very very temporary and quite unreliable. Secondly, this is for my friends who don't/won't have a Friendster account. So guys, enjoy. Alrighty. To begin with, let me itroduce myself to my readers. For the sake of privacy and security, i won't reveal my real name but i'm sure those who read this should know those details. I'll just make life simple and refer to myself as Lynnie, that should suffice. Weell, i've been 15 for 3 months and 2 days, lived in Malaysia since i was born. I'm a mix-between Chinese and Chinese. Hey, the dialects are different. I have one younger brother who insists that i am a cockroach trapped in a human body and two loving parents. Oh, and my darling Jiji, my cream coloured Labrador. Physical-wise, i wouldn't say i'm exactly attractive, but mirrors don't shatter when i look into them, so its okay i guess. Dark dark brown eyes and darker hair, i could be fair one day and dark the next. I'm average in height and kinda on the weighty side. My hobbies include reading, surfing the net, yakking with my friends, lazing in front of the telly, listening to music, writing, singing in the shower, and so on. One thing you should know about me is that i can't go a day without my friends and family. I may not be a real social butterfly, but i really treasure all those in my life. Well, here's the first post for my blog, i'll check back in when something post-worthy has happened. ~Peace out, Lynnie1:45 PM Z
